The goal of the Computer ReUse Program is two-fold. First, to keep computers out of the landfill. Second, to give a new life to working computers and help people who would benefit from having a computer.
How it works
People with an old working laptop donate it to the program. We install the Linux Operating System, thereby erasing the old operating system and reformatting the hard drive on the computer. We then donate the computer to someone who needs it. If you would like to participate in the program, please see the Frequently Asked Questions below and then fill out either the donors form or the receivers form, according to your participation.

Do you accept desktop computers or only laptops?
We are only accepting laptops at the moment.
What is the age limit of the computers you accept?
In general, we prefer nothing older than 2014. However, if your older computer works well, we could potentially accept it. Please note that we will give priority to newer computers in our selection process, so your donation may take longer. In the event that we have more newer computers than we have potential receivers, we may not accept your older computer.
Will you provide training to people receiving computers?
Yes. You will be able to sit with us and we will show you how to use your computer for basic day to day needs.
